Welcome to the Apostasy!

Every day a new shock, a new outrage. Church leaders compromising on sexual morality and the sanctity of marriage; churches embracing the "green" movement and holding Earth Day services; inspired by Whoopie Goldberg's Sister Act, they bring worldly, fleshly music into our worship services; affirming the Theory of Evolution and pooh-poohing the Biblical account of creation. What's going on???
None of this should surprise us. Did not the Apostle Paul tell us, "...for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition." (2 Thessalonians 2:3). Well it's here. The Great Apostasy. It's like we woke up one morning and everything's upside down.
You remember back after the September 11 attacks? Church "leaders" were falling all over themselves and couldn't get on the air fast enough to announce, "THIS IS NOT GOD'S JUDGEMENT ON THE U.S."
Thereby effectively wiping out any good that could have come out of the tragedy, namely the people of God crying out to the Lord according to 2 Chronicles 7:14.
"No, Matt," you say, "Churches were opening their doors 24/7 for people to come in to pray." That's right, they were. "People" Any people. Churches allowed not only Christians, but Jews, Muslims, and anyone else to come in and pray. How very tolerant! Yes, Hindus could enter the sanctuary and invoke their pahtheon of gods;  Buddhists, animists, shamanists, Wiccans, all were welcome. Remember?
So what's next? You've all heard about Detention Camps being set up around the country, though the average Joe doesn't believe it. Can't happen here. What did Jesus tell us?
"They shall deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and yo shall be hated of all nations for My name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another...
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." (Matthew 24:9, 10, 12)
"Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for My name's sake; but he that shall endure to the end shall be saved" (Mark 13: 12-13)
"And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you they shall cause to be put to death." (Luke 21: 16) I'm not trying to scare you, just warn you. 'Cause Jesus has this habit of being right. "Trust no one" (Micah 7: 5-6) Get ready.
